Hello, my name is Anne Marie Hasleton, I live on Kauai, Hawaii. I come from a long line of Norwegian ancestry; from both sides of my family.  I am anxious to explore the heritage my mother has taught to me. What better way to do this then come to Norway. I am 32 years old, an artist that studies in two mediums (photography and writing). I love the outdoors, adventure, taking pictures, writing, meeting new people, new languages, exploring cultural events. 

 After living in Alaska, I have broadened my experience in farming; although, it is limited to vegetation and green house farming. I did take care of livestock (chickens and horses). Alaska taught many things to me,  I like to work hard to see what happens and you reap what you sow.  

I would like the opportunity to learn the ways of farming so eventually, I can have a small successful farm of my own. I will begin my stay in Norway the 15th of January and will stay as long as it is warranted. I would like to work at least 4-5 days a week at 4-5 hours per day. I am also looking for lodging; a small quiet cabin space with a wood burning stove would be preferable, close to amenities and the farm that I will be working with.
